#53 Chiayi Mountain & Sea - Creative Logs|Better to act than just feel it.

Originally just a casual chat over a meal.
In the end, it turned into yet another to-do item.

Lunchtime.

The table was piled with freshly bought lunch boxes and drinks.

The Screenwriter let out a long sigh while staring at the progress bar on the translation file.

“It’s been two months of work…”

“The translation progress has finally passed fifty percent…”

The Art Lead hugged her lunch box and groaned.

“Seeing English now gives me a headache…”

On the other side—

The Boss was being fed without any guilt.

Lil’ Pink skillfully brought food to his mouth.

“Should we go out and have some fun instead?”

The Manager was feeding Lil’ Pink.

He didn’t even look up.

“We can’t go abroad.”

Then he wiped sauce off the corner of Lil’ Pink’s mouth.

The Director immediately added,

“No more playing around!”

“It’s almost the end of the year, and we still have a pile of projects left.”

The Boss looked completely innocent.

“Why are you all so nervous?”

“I never said we were going abroad.”

The Art Lead put down her chopsticks.

“You seriously ask that?”

The Screenwriter couldn’t help but jump in.

“Then what?”

The Boss kept chewing, then suddenly straightened up as if remembering something.

“How about Alishan?”

“Three days and two nights!”

“Breathing in all the phytoncides, then heading off for Chiayi chicken rice!”

Lil’ Pink looked up from its food.

“Oink?”

The Boss immediately explained.

“Turkey rice is super delicious!”

Lil’ Pink tilted its head.

“Oink-oink?”

The Boss gestured enthusiastically with both hands.

“Big turkey!”

Lil’ Pink’s tail started swaying happily.

“Oink-oink-oink!”

The Manager calmly added,

“You can’t touch a turkey.”

Tail froze instantly.

The Boss immediately protested.

“Don’t kill his expectations so early!”

The Manager remained expressionless.

“I’m only stating a fact.”

The Art Lead watched the two people and one pig chatting enthusiastically.

“…Wait.”

“What did Lil’ Pink just say?”

The Boss answered as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

“He asked if turkey tastes good.”

“And whether he can touch it.”

The Manager added,

“He thought turkeys had fire on them.”

The Art Lead subconsciously nodded.

“Oh…”

“Wait, no!”

“Why can you all understand him?!”

The Screenwriter simply chose to accept reality.

“If it’s just three days, that might be fine?”

The Boss’s eyes lit up instantly.

“Right? Right?!”

“No time like the present!”

“Let’s do it this week!”

The Director immediately frowned.

“But rooms in Alishan might not be easy to book.”

“We should check the transportation first too.”

The Art Lead waved a hand dismissively.

“It can’t possibly be harder than the Italy trip.”

The Screenwriter chimed in.

“Exactly.”

The Manager picked up his tablet.

“I’ll look into accommodation first.”

The Director also spoke up.

“I’ll check the transportation.”

The Art Lead pushed her lunch box aside.

“Then we’ll handle the wrap-up.”

The Screenwriter slid his chair closer.

“Okey.”

“Send me the files.”

The Boss looked left and right.

“What about me?”

The Manager had already stood up and casually picked up Lil’ Pink.

“Finish the rest of your meal yourself.”

“I’m taking Lil’ Pink to wash its hands.”

“Oink!”

Lil’ Pink obediently handed over the bowl and chopsticks held in its hooves.

“…Alright…”

The Boss silently took them.

The Manager carried Lil’ Pink out of the meeting room in his arms.

Others also went back to what they were doing.

“So love disappears, right…”

No one answered.

Only the steady rhythm of keyboard typing continued.
